Fine
Paste Pigment Preparations
Hydrophilic,
highly concentrated, readily pourable pigment pastes
containing non-ionic and anionic wetting agents and
dispersing agents. They mix readily into aqueous media to
form stable dispersions. They are miscible with one
another in any ratio.
Their main purpose is the coloration of synthetic resin
emulsion paints, wood stains, latex, soaps etc. The prints
can not used for testing fastness properties.
Explanatory
notes on column headings used in the table
V
= 5% in a full shade emulsion paint containing 1% TiO2
Rutile
R = 2% in a reduced shade emulsion paint containing
20% TiO2 Rutile
Light = light fastness based on DIN 54003
Weathering = Fastness to weathering for 12 months,
DIN 54001
Pigment Content Approx% = The pigment content
stated in 1%(approx) is merely intended as a guide value.
The criterion in standardization is the tinctorial
strength of the paste.
Density = density in g/cm3 based on DIN 53 193
